WIRE MESH

FRIEDRICH FILTERSYSTEME offers two distinct types of filter media: optimesh® and precimesh®.
These filter media are specifically designed to meet the requirements of a wide variety of applications, each with its own set of optimised features.

optimesh® Plain dutch weave with extra fine weft

One of the outstanding features of optimesh® is the calculation method to determine the surface filtration mechanism, placing the narrowest pore cross-section on the mesh's surface rather than in the middle of the cross-section.
This innovative design promotes optimal regenerability and efficient filtration.
Main benefits of optimesh®:

  • optimesh® provides an exceptional open area for the fabric pores, which can be up to 9 times larger compared to conventional filter media. This larger open area results in improved flow rates and filtration efficiency.
  • optimesh® offers an impressive filter lifespan, with filter life potentially extending up to 8 times longer than the most filter media available on the market. This not only reduces maintenance frequency but also enhances cost-effectiveness.
  • flow resistance in optimesh® is significantly reduced, often by as much as one-third, leading to increased energy efficiency and lower operational costs.
  • optimesh® is engineered with extremely high mechanical strength, ensuring durability and resistance to wear and tear, even in demanding environments.
  • optimesh® is known for its high-temperature resistance and remarkable chemical resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
  • It offers a wide range of filtration ratings, from approximately 3 to 100 µm to meet a variety of filtration needs.

precimesh®

precimesh® identifies various types of wire cloth used in a wide range of applications.
While it may not have the specialized features of optimesh®, it still maintains a high standard of quality and versatility.
Depending on your specific application requirements, precimesh® can be tailored to meet different filtration needs, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of industries.

Wedge wire support and gap type filter tubes

Optigap® and precislot® wedge wire and gap type filters are engineered with a unique design, featuring longitudinal rods seamlessly welded to spirally circulating profiled wires at their points of contact.
Precislot® elements are extremely versatile.

Characteristics

They can be used as support elements for a wide variety of filter media, or they can be used directly as gap filters. With filter fineness options from 20 microns, you have the flexibility to tailor your filtration process to your filtration needs.

When you choose our optigap® and precislot® filters, you gain access to a host of advantages that make your filtration process smoother and more efficient:

  • highest precision of gap widths
  • highest mechanical strength
  • minimum flow resistance
  • minimum incrustation and maintenance
  • problem-free filtrate discharge
  • high pressure resistance
  • high temperature resistance
  • materials according to requirements

In addition to our optigap® and precislot® filters, we specialize in manufacturing supports and screens in a variety of materials, including perforated plate, expanded metal, welded constructions, and more. Our team is dedicated to tailoring solutions to your unique requirements, providing you with the most efficient and effective filtration systems.
